Description

The API for providing the seed (or arbitrary args to order, see #6450) needs a tiny bit of thought, but something like

trial --order random --order-args seed:1243

is probably reasonable.

I don't think --order-args seed:1243 sounds reasonable. What does that do? Make the seed "1234"? Random seeds are usually integers. Will plugins have to implement a new slightly incompatible kind of command line argument parser to hook into this?

Also, the details of the syntax of that seed:1234 blob actually need to be thought out. Consider the mess that was made first of strports and then of the endpoints syntax.
