The issue appears to be that some previously-working pickles are now raising MemoryError when we're trying to load them.

Some of these tracebacks are not useful, due to a deficiency in our own tests.

Supposedly http://hg.python.org/cpython/rev/f3f23ecdb1c6/ fixes the issue. Is this on the tip of the 2.7-maint branch yet? How do we tell what revision the 2.7-maint builder is testing?

You can tell by looking a the last build on https://buildbot.twistedmatrix.com/builders/lucid32-cpy2.7maint-translator. It appears to contain that commit, and I triggered a successful build.
