Description

This patch adds content encoding support to xmlrpc so that Latin-1 data that comes out of our server can be properly encoded.

Why not return unicode instead?

Status: newclosed

No reason at all, as far as I can tell.

It is possible, easy, and correct to return unicode from ones exposed XML-RPC methods. The attached patch here doesn't fix any problem or even provide an alternate solution to a non-problem.
