Hi all,

eXe is an open-source project at the University of Auckland to create an
off-line, web-based authoring tool that will enable teachers and
academics to publish web content without the need to become proficient
in HTML or XML markup.

Our first release of eXe can be downloaded from
http://eduforge.org/frs/?group_id=20. It still has a long way to go,
but is already creating interest in education circles.

eXe is being developed in Python using the Twisted framework. XUL
components are planned for the future.

We're now looking to hire another Python programmer to add to the eXe
development team. If you're interested please have a look at
http://www.vacancies.auckland.ac.nz/positiondetail.asp?P=2992.

More information on the eXe project can be found on Eduforge
http://eduforge.org/projects/exe/ or through the eXe team's wiki at:
http://exe.cfdl.auckland.ac.nz/wiki.

Thanks,
David Moore.

New Zealand.
