[Twisted-Python] Do Viewables absolutely have to be return'ed by Avatars?

This is what I was trying to answer when I said to construct and return a ViewPoint explicitly instead of hoping that it gets implicitly associated through the process of serialization.  If that's not the answer you were looking for, could you clarify the question?
