[Twisted-Python] Recovering PB references on broken connection?

twisted.spread.sturdy does _something_ related to keeping persistent 
references to an object, but after reading it for a few minutes, I don't 
really grok it. It doesn't seem very general... Hopefully someone else 
will explain this.
