[Twisted-Python] Generators as MicroThread and Twisted

Hi,

Is there any relation between the generators microthread execution idea and the Twisted deffered/reactors schema ?

I'm observing how circle.org.au is reinventing the wheel. It does it very fine, but can be twisted used ? How does one idea relates to the other ? Pro/Cons ?
