Me making a strange face in the equally strange elevator of the Hostel Tampere. The walls were laminated cork, and in classic European style, little attention was paid to potential lawsuits -- one side of the elevator was open to the doors of the individual floors, meaning you had a sliding wall behind you at all times, ready to catch your fingers or necktie or tongue if you preferred to be genuinely American about your litigiousness.
