twisted.application.service.Application doesn't give up group 0

This was found in twisted-1.2.0 (debian package):

from twisted.application import service, internet
...
application = service.Application('web', uid, gid)
svc = internet.TCPServer(httpd_port, site, interface=httpd_host)
svc.setServiceParent(application)

cat /proc/<pid>/status still shows "groups: 0" even uid and gid were not 0.

This looks exactly like #521. Why did you repost it? And have you checked to
see if the latest CVS still behaves this way?
