Description

In the Sage project, we apply the attached patch, which helps a lot when we are pushing a lot of javascript code through the web2-based server.

Thank you for the patch. However, since development is focusing on twisted.web now, I don't think it's worthwhile to pursue this. (Adding compression support to twisted.web would be great though.)

Sorry for the web2 dead-end.
