Description

RFC 3261 describes a transport layer responsible for sending and receiving SIP requests and responses over the network, and matching them up with transactions. The UDP version is the most immediately useful one, so it should be added first. Documentation describing the interface expected for code using the transaction and transport layers should be added too, along with some code examples of their use.
