calling qApp.setMainWidget(mW) should be sufficient. I am not entirely sure 
that this is a twisted problem, but qApp.setMainWidget was sufficient when the 
app was not using twisted.

I guess it's a bug in qtreactor. It probably isn't really high priority. It might be nice if it got fixed someday perhaps.
