Hello Shiyao,

Yes, I'm really pleased that you chose to start with twisted.names and
I'm looking forward to seeing Parsley in action!

I've been working on EDNS support. (Building on some patches provided
by Bob Novas last year.)
 * https://twistedmatrix.com/trac/wiki/EDNS0
 * https://twistedmatrix.com/trac/ticket/5668 (OPT Record)
 * https://twistedmatrix.com/trac/ticket/5675 (EDNSMessage)
These are currently wrappers around the existing t.n.dns.RRHeader and
t.n.dns.Message, which may or may not be the right approach (feedback
would be very welcome).

I've also been doing some testing and bug fixing of twisted.names.authority.

Anyway, good luck with your project and I'll be delighted to help if I can.

-RichardW.

PS: Can you post a link to the GSOC project plan and the expected outcomes?
(Perhaps it's on your Github site - I should look)
