We are all a newbie at one time or another.

The key to programming effectively in Twisted seems to be to figure  
out what code you *don't* have to write.

Learning Twisted really reminds me a lot of learning Cocoa (16 years  
ago).   In both cases, the framework gives you a fully functioning  
generic application out of the box.   It is up to you to customize  
that generic application to turn it into the specific solution you need.
