Subject: Porting Twisted to another language...
To: twisted-python-owner at twistedmatrix.com

I don't know if I'm sending this to the right place, but I hope that if I
didn't, you may be able to forward it along to it's proper destination.

I am a programmer that uses the Ruby programming language as my preferred base.

Unfortunately, there really isn't any kind of library of objects similar to
Twisted available for Ruby.

Due to the similarities between Ruby & Python, I don't believe that porting the
entire collective over to Ruby would be an extreme challenge.

Since Twisted is yours, I wouldn't think of embarking on such a project without
your approval. So, that's why I'm writing this.

Anyways, any communication is welcome. I only get to check this email a few
times a day so please don't be cross if I take a bit to get back to any
response. My job doesn't allow me to deal with my external mail accounts & such
during my time there.

So, if you have any comments or questions, or if I can provide any additional
information and/or assistance, please let me know. I'm always glad to be of
assistance.

Thank you in advance for your attention. I look forward to your response.
