I can't reproduce this issue (twisted 1.0.7a5, python 2.2). Perhaps
there's a bug in your code somewhere - try with a simple test case and
see if it still happens? If it does, please add a bug report in our
issue tracker with minimal example code for the bug so we can fix it.
