t.p.p.LimitTotalConnectionsFactory(ServerFactory) : class documentation

Part of twisted.protocols.policies View Source View In Hierarchy

Known subclasses: twisted.protocols.ftp.FTPFactory

Factory that limits the number of simultaneous connections.
Instance Variable connectionCount number of current connections. (type: int)
Class Variable connectionLimit maximum number of connections. (type: int or None)
Class Variable overflowProtocol Protocol to use for new connections when connectionLimit is exceeded. If None (the default value), excess connections will be closed immediately. (type: Protocol or None)
Method buildProtocol Create an instance of a subclass of Protocol.
Method registerProtocol Undocumented
Method unregisterProtocol Undocumented

Inherited from Factory (via ServerFactory):

Method logPrefix Describe this factory for log messages.
Method doStart Make sure startFactory is called.
Method doStop Make sure stopFactory is called.
Method startFactory This will be called before I begin listening on a Port or Connector.
Method stopFactory This will be called before I stop listening on all Ports/Connectors.
